Three of the four gold miners who were stuck in the collapsed mine in Ayimbo Village, Bondo Sub-county, have been rescued successfully while still alive.
The three men were rescued Wednesday morning as the search for another man who is still inside continues.
Joel Ogutu, Victor Otieno, and Jacob Onyango were rescued at 2 pm as the search for the other man is still in progress.
For now, seven people have been rescued alive while one of them died. The families and relatives have been crowding at the scene since last Thursday with the hope of getting their kin alive.
