Kakamega County Governor Fernandes Barasa has lost his mother.
In a statement shared by the county government press unit, Mama Philomena Muterwa Barasa passed away on Thursday at the Kakamega Count Referral Hospital.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you come to terms with the death of your mother,” the statement read.
Funeral details for the burial of the governor’s mother will be communicated.
