Samuel Abisai, renowned for his record-breaking win of Sh221 million in the SportPesa Mega Jackpot in 2017, has set his sights on a new challenge: vying for the Lugari parliamentary seat in 2027.
Abisai, aged 28 at the time of his historic jackpot win, was then a university graduate working as a casual laborer in Nairobi. His sudden fortune catapulted him into the public eye, a transformation that has inspired his decision to enter politics.
Recently, Abisai made headlines for his philanthropic endeavors, including distributing food and gifts to residents of Lugari last December.
The lucky man, who has renamed his Facebook profile to Hon. Abisai Samuel, now seeks to unseat Nabwera and extend his service to humanity by representing the people of Lugari in Parliament.
Abisai made his ambition public at a local church early this year.
In the past, Abisai publicly expressed his wish to purchase the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC).
Abisai resides in Kitengela, Kajiado County, with his wife, whom he affectionately refers to as Mrs. Lugari 001, and their three children, in a luxurious home. He frequently visits Lugari, his home constituency, to check on relatives and friends and take part in community activities.
