Mwalimu Ronald Wanyama, a senior teacher at Nalondo Boys High School in Bungoma, was among the two people killed in a road accident at Misanga along the Webuye-Bungoma highway on Thursday.
Wanyama also served as the Director of Studies at Nalondo Boys High School, where he was widely respected for his dedication to academic excellence and student mentorship.
The accident has left a deep void among his colleagues, students, and the entire education fraternity. Wanyama, a native of Sango Ward in Likuyani Constituency, was known for his passion for teaching and his unwavering commitment to shaping young minds.
His tragic demise has elicited an outpouring of grief from friends, family, and the community. Many have taken to social media to express their condolences, remembering him as a dedicated teacher and a great supporter of education.
A tribute gathering in his honor is scheduled to take place at Delux VIP Lounge in Nalondo on Sunday, where friends and colleagues will come together to celebrate his life and bid him a final farewell.
