Report: ODM instructs members to refrain from campaigning for Ruto

Engagements between President William Ruto’s UDA party and ODM have been temporarily suspended following a high-level meeting of ODM’s top decision-making organ, according to a report by Daily Nation.

The nearly seven-hour meeting, reportedly chaired by ODM party leader Oburu Oginga, was described by insiders as tense and highly charged, with senior officials openly expressing frustration over what they termed a calculated attempt to undermine the party.

In a bid to address the escalating concerns, Oburu, alongside national chairperson Gladys Wanga and co-deputy party leader Simba Arati, has been tasked with urgently seeking talks with President Ruto, the publication reported, citing an unnamed source.
