Two electricians from Mautuma Ward in Lugari Sub-County are nursing serious injuries after they were involved in a road accident traveling back home from work in Siaya County.
The accident occurred on Sunday last week at Luanda in Vihiga County when a speeding motorcycle reportedly knocked them down.
One of the victims, Peter Shivega, suffered a broken leg, while his colleague, also identified as Peter, sustained multiple fractures. The two were rushed to Optical Hospital in Vihiga County, where they received treatment before being discharged today.
Due to their condition, the injured men were unable to travel comfortably by public transport and appealed to MCA Charles Anyona for assistance in facilitating their journey back home to Mautuma Ward.
