Emerging details indicate that former Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju had earlier reported being trailed before his sudden disappearance.
According to reports, Tuju visited Karen Police Station on Saturday, where he claimed a white Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series without number plates was following him.
He was later expected to appear for a 7pm interview on Ramogi FM, but failed to show up.
His family says he has not been seen since Saturday afternoon, and his phone has remained switched off.
The situation escalated on Sunday morning when his son, Mano Tuju, received a call from the Officer Commanding Station (OCS) at Karen Police Station while attending church, informing him that Tuju’s vehicle had been found abandoned along Miotoni Lane.
Following the discovery, a missing person report was officially filed at the station under OB 17/22/03/2026.
