Embattled lawyer Miguna Miguna has safely arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport after spending five years out in forced exile.
The self declared leader of the National Revolutionary Movement (NRM) arrived at around 6.30 am on a K flight as scheduled and is expected to join President William Ruto is marking Mashujaa Day celebrations at Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi.
Miguna Miguna has been staying in Canada after he was forced into a plane in 2017 by officers by the then government under retired President Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto, who was Deputy President.
Efforts to bring him back had failed even after the court made several orders seeking to lift red alerts imposed on him.
