Hotel worker stoned to death in shocking pre-dawn attack in Kibabii, Bungoma

Residents of Kibabii are reeling in shock following the death of a hotel worker in a mysterious early morning incident.

The victim, identified as Jack, was an employee at Majaliwa Deli Hotel located opposite Marell Academy. According to preliminary reports and CCTV footage, he was on his way to report for duty at around 5:00 a.m. when he was attacked from behind and struck with stones by unknown assailants. 

The assault caused him to fall heavily, leading to fatal injuries.

Witness accounts indicate that nothing was stolen from the scene, raising questions about the motive behind the attack. The circumstances surrounding the incident have left both residents and authorities puzzled.

Police officers have since visited the scene and launched investigations into the killing.

Jack, described by locals as a young and hardworking man, was well known in the area for preparing chapati for students and residents around the Kibabii University and Tuuti areas. 

News of his death has sparked grief among students and community members, who have expressed sorrow over the sudden loss.

Authorities are urging anyone with information that could assist in the investigation to come forward as efforts to identify and apprehend the attacker continue.
