A Form Three student at Ebusiloli Senior School in Vihiga County has died after she suddenly collapsed while returning to school.
Careen Asiko, a student in Form Three West, had reportedly left to collect her school fees before beginning her journey back to the school in Emuhaya Constituency.
She collapsed at Emukhuyu while on her way back, prompting members of the public to rush to her aid.
Good Samaritans took her to Bunyore Hospital for treatment, but she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
