A wave of grief has engulfed Lugulu Village in Sango Ward, Likuyani Constituency, following the discovery of the body of a 33-year-old man, who was found hanging from a rope inside his house under unclear circumstances.
According to the deceased’s parents, Maurice Wemali and Irene Wanjala, the last time they saw their son, Kevin Owuor, was on Thursday.
After becoming concerned over his prolonged absence, the parents decided to check on him at his house, only to be met with a shocking discovery. They found his body hanging from a rope inside the house, whose door was reportedly unlocked.
The grieving family has expressed deep sorrow over the incident and called for thorough investigations to establish the circumstances surrounding their loved one’s death.
Meanwhile, Village Administrator Rosemary Kuya has appealed to residents to remain calm as investigations continue.
She also urged members of the public to seek counselling and support whenever they encounter personal challenges rather than resorting to suicide.
