The event, attended by prominent figures including Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa, Lugari MP Nabii Nabwera, National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula, and various local leaders, was a testament to the collaborative efforts towards regional development.

President Ruto, in a commitment to agricultural advancement, pledged to double the supply of subsidized fertilizer in Kakamega County, increasing it to 300,000 bags. This initiative aims to boost food production and enhance the agricultural sector’s resilience.
