The body of a woman from an estate in Kakamega who went missing on Sunday has been found dumped in a septic tank.
Neighbors discovered a foul smell that was attracting flies and immediately called the police to the scene.
The police found out it was the body of Carolyn Shayne. They retrieved it and took it to the Kakamega County General Hospital mortuary for post-mortem analysis.
The woman’s landlord told the police that Carolyne had spent the fateful night with her boyfriend.
Reports indicate that this is the fifth person to be found murdered in Lutonyi in four months’ time, seemingly under circumstances.
