Bumula residents in Bungoma County petition MP over water shortage

The residents have lamented being duped by previous regimes in campaigns.

Residents of Siboti Ward in Bumula Sub-county, Bungoma County, have called upon the area MP Jack Wamboka to provide a long-lasting solution to the shortage of water as he promised in his campaign.

The residents have lamented that they have been duped by previous administrations on the same issue and it is time a permanent solution is provided.

Women and children now have to walk long distances to search for the essential commodity, including crossing the neighboring wards such as Kimaeti.

The problem is not only affecting humans but also livestock.
