President William Ruto is back to the country after spending five days out of the country in an official tour in three countries in the region: Ethiopia, Uganda and Tanzania which included talks on business and political ties.
Ruto’s visit to Ethiopia saw him oversee the launch of Safaricom Ethiopia and meet Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed with who they had talks around economic ties.
In Uganda, the President attended the celebrations of the county’s 60 years of independence and was hosted by President Yoweri Museveni.
The Head of State concluded his regional tour with a 2-day visit to Tanzania where he met President Samia Suluhu Hassan and had bilateral talks to strike economic and diplomatic deals between the two countries.
