Webuye County Hospital to serve clients with AON Minet medical insurance cover

The facility has been admitting clients with National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) as well as cash based.

Webuye County Hospital can now serve clients with AON Minet medical insurance cover.

The facility’s medical superintendent , Dr. Simon Kisaka has said, the contract has officially been signed with the insurance provider.

“We are happy to announce to our clients that the deal is sealed and our professional medics are ready to take them up for specialised attention into the facility”, added Dr Kisaka.

He said the facility has been admitting clients with National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) as well as cash based.

Teachers will be the biggest beneficiary of the service since they subscribe to the cover provided by Teachers service Commission.

He said teachers, have been traveling to Bungoma to source for basic medical services that the facility offers affordably.

Webuye County Hospital has been ranked best public facility in the country.

The facility also won an award by Johnson and Johnson for the best in maternity services.

The award by Johnson and Johnson in conjunction with the Nursing Council recognises public and mission hospitals for exemplary services despite the many challenges facing public health sector.
