The late veteran broadcaster Catherine Kasavuli has today been interred at her home in Zululu Village, Vihiga County.
The church service for the late Kasavuli was held at Nyang’ori Boys High School before the final internment process was conducted at her family home.
A number of prominent leaders and colleagues in the media industry who took the stage praised her as a gifted journalist and kind human.
Among the leaders in attendance were Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, Azimio Deputy presidential candidate Martha Karua, and National Assembly Speaker Moses Masika Wetangula.
Kasavuli died on December 29, 2022, at Kenyatta National Hospital, following a long battle with cervical cancer. She died at the age of 60, and is survived by her son, Martin Kasavuli.
