Savula presents a cultural song and dance in ECDE benchmarking session in Israel

Kakamega Deputy Governor Ayub Savula is having lots of good experience in Israel where he is pitching camp with 23 collegues from Kenya for a two-week Contemporary Public Administration Management program.

The MP last week shared photos of him being baptized at the same spot where Jesus was baptized in the River Jordan.

On Monday, the former Lugari MP presented a Kenyan cultural song and dance in a study session at the Galilee Institute of Management as part of the benchmark program for the drafting and implementation of policies in the ECDE program back at home in Kakamega County.

“This evening at Galilee Institute of Management, Kakamega Deputy Governor Hon. Ayub Savula is expected to present a native Kenyan song and dance in a study session to enhance and embrace diversity of cultural values in Africa.

“Hon. Savula seems to be an all round student as he joins other learners in enjoying other cultural songs. Music has shaped cultures and societies around the world passed through generation to generation,” read a post on his Facebook page.

The leader later visited an ECDE center in Baqa AlGharbiyye City to see how the program is carried out.

“Kakamega County is on the forefront for infrastructure set for the vital pupillage education not to mention that all ECDE teachers in the county are conferred to be on Permanent and Pensionable terms with an aim to motivate them,” he said

The county’s second in command vowed to share with the county educational stakeholders to improve on the welfare of the ECDE children as it is done in Israel to achieve maximum output of the kids in line with the new CBC initiative.
