The governor, while officially opening the Kaptien Dispensary, said the facility will receive Sh84 million worth of drugs and be equipped with a clinical officer and a nurse.
He took the drugs and warned those involved in the theft of drugs meant to assist patients.

“Be extra vigilant to report cases of drugs with KEMSA inscriptions. When coming across such, notify me, and surely nitafunga watu wa aina hiyo,” said Natembeya.
He ordered the Health CECM Dr. Pepela Wanjala and his Chief Officer Dr. Emmanuel Wanjala to embark on upgrading the dispensary to health center status.
Natembeya further said that his administration will soon construct a maternity wing to enable mothers to have safe deliveries.
