Chaos was witnessed during the burial of Kisa East MCA Stpehen Maloba, who was stabbed to death in April following a confrontation during a meeting attended by Khwisero MP Christopher Aseka.
The burial ceremony held on Saturday witnessed drama after MCAs who attended the event shouted down MPs Peter Salasya of Mumias East and Omboko Milemba of Emuhaya for neglecting them.
Salasya shared a video in which he was engaging a group of people in a push and pull as others, believed to be his security, tried to push them away.
The MP, who was donning a red tracksuit, applauded his men for containing the scuffle before it exploded.
“Big thanks to our clerk, Samuel Njoroge. you have a good team of gym instructors in our gym facility are amazing. They have made me physically fit for the few weeks I have been attending, within 5 seconds I was able to dismantle array of MCAs who wanted to attack me,” he tweeted.
