Collins Ndege, the best-performing student in the KCSE 2022 in Lugari Sub-County in Kakamega County, has been awarded a laptop worth Sh30,000.
Collins garnered an A- (minus) of 75 points at St. Augustine’s Mixed Day Secondary School in the national exam.
He was one of the 26 students awarded by the school during its annual general meeting (AGM) today for their wonderful performance.
The other students received suitcases as they prepare to join various tertiary institutions across the country.
“I am very happy to be given this laptop, which will be helpful in my studies,” Collins said during his speech to other students.
Ndege will join Egerton University to pursue a course in Education.
