Didmus Barasa accuses Malala of being used by ODM to divide UDA

Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa is accusing UDA secretary general Cleophs Malala of being used by ODM to destroy the ruling party.

Barasa claims he has evidence Malala is being used by ODM to incite people in Western Kenya against Prime CS, Foreign Affairs Minister Musalia Mudavadi, and National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula.

“By having Malala holding meetings in Vihiga and demanding that Mudavadi shows what he has done for the people and holding meetings in Bungoma and asking Wetangula to list what he has done for the people is a clear signal that he was out to divide the ruling party from within,” Didmus said while addressing journalists at Parliament Buildings.

He further argued that Malala has been hired by ODM to divide the party, adding that fighting Mudavadi and Wetangula was weakening UDA.

“By inciting the people of western Kenya against Mudavadi and Wetang’ula, Malala is basically creating the impression that President William Ruto has not delivered the promises made to our people, and therefore he has clearly been hired to work for the ODM party,” he said.
