Bungoma County is calling upon artists who would like to be part of the team to perform in the upcoming Madaraka Day celebrations to register in large numbers.
Through a notice shared by Denson Barasa, the County Government acting Chief Officer for Gender, Culture, Youths and Sports, the county is looking for performers from within Bungoma to feature in the June 1, 2024 celebrations.
The national event will be held at the new Masinde Muliro Stadium which is in its final stages of construction.
All sub-county Gender, Culture, Youths and Sports officers are required to mobilise for and identify talented performers from the village, ward and sub-county levels.
The identified artists will be required to register through the officers and further information will be provided soon.
