Residents of Kitale witnessed a drama of a young man who was locomoting like a cow heading to Kitale-Webuye road around flyover.
The unknown young man who was unable to speak according to the eye witnesses, was seen on Wednesday early in the morning moving near Kitale County Referral Hospital.
“We saw him and thought he was a mad man we didn’t know he would reach this far” Peter Kemboi, an eye witness, said.
According to the locals around Mutondo area who spoke to Western Kenya Times at the scene, asserted that two weeks ago a bull was stollen at Shimolatewa Milimani and slaughtered by unkown individuals in the forest nearby where the person was locomoting to.
“The bull was stollen and slaughtered here in this forest and the owner declared that those involved in the act will face the consequences,” said Barasa Wanjala.
Barasa urged young men to shun from crime and instead look for something that can bring food on the table positively and legally.
Some weeks ago, Kitale Polisi officers shot thugs in the same area who tried to exchange fire with the officers. The officers were persuing them after receiving alerts from the locals.
