ODM Director of Communications, Philip Etale, has endorsed former Kakamega County chief of staff Nabii Nabwera for the Lugari Parliamentary seat in the August 9 general elections.
In the message shared on his Facebook account, the communication chief urged his supporters to “rally behind our party candidate Nabii Nabwera in the August 9 general election.”
“Together we can make Lugari great again,” his message continued.
Etale recently stepped down from pursuing the post to concentrate on helping his boss, ODM leader Raila Odinga, with his presidential ambition.
Nabii Nabwera will be facing stiff competition from the likes of UDP’s Bryan Liseche and ANC’s Alex Atingo as he tries his third stab at the post.
The politician, whose father, Burudi Nabwera, was the first MP for Lugari, seeks to succeed Ayub Savula in leading the constituency that is lagging behind in development.
