IEBC now allows access to servers after stand-off

SC James Orengo raised concern on the stand-off in the process despite court order.

IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati has finally allowed Raila Odinga to access the National Tallying Centre servers after a stand-off following the Supreme Court order that directed the commission to open all servers for scrutiny.

Earlier on, Senior Counsel James Orengo told the court that the IEBC had denied Azimio la Umoja agents supervised access to the servers despite the court having issued a directive earlier on Tuesday.

Orengo claimed that they were only allowed restricted access to one server.

Justine Isaac Lenaola replied to Orengo and said that the court was following up on the matter.
