The controversial bishop of God at Rise Up Society Mission Kipsongo church, Jim Nduruchi, celebrated Mother’s Day by gifting his mom a Mercedes Benz.
The former Trans Nzoia gubernatorial candidate took to his Facebook account to share how her mother, Janet Nangekhe, braved life’s predicaments and worked hard to ensure he made it through life.
“Mom, you did menial jobs on people’s farms to feed us. You lost ten more amazing, more beautiful, more intelligent sons and daughters than me,” he wrote.
Mr. Nduruchi emphasized that the “small gesture” was not enough to repay her mother’s kind deeds.
“As you drive your German machine, just please remember that I would never repay all the wonderful gifts you bestowed upon me,” he said.
He indicated that he wished to have his father, who passed on, celebrate his success with his mother.
The controversial man of God was widely accused in 2019 of the death of Bungoma-based comedian and university student John (Gift) Masinde, who was found sodomized and murdered.
In 2021, K24 Digital ran an expose that revealed how the preacher had been preying on members of his church, mistreating and sodomizing them.
Jim, Nduruchi, however, has never been found guilty of the accusations.
