More than 1.4 million candidates eagerly await the results of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) examinations.
The assessments, spanning from October 30 to November 1, witnessed over a million students participating in the KCPE exams.
This year’s release of the KCPE results signifies the end of a 38-year era as Kenya undergoes a transition to the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
Education PS Belio Kipsang, offering reassurance during a visit to Naivasha Girls High School, affirmed that the results would be unveiled by the end of November.
Initially slated for a Christmas announcement, the Ministry of Education has expedited the release to facilitate seamless student placement in secondary schools. This adjustment also aids parents in preparing for school fees amidst challenging economic times.
Concurrently, students undertaking the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams are expected to conclude their assessments by the end of this week.
