The Member of the National Assembly representing Lugari Constituency, Nabii Nabwera, has announced a sponsorship initiative for students hailing from schools within the constituency who excelled in the KCPE 2023 and have been called to join national secondary schools.
In a noteworthy development, a total of 59 candidates from Lugari Constituency have received invitations to join national schools, marking a significant improvement from the mere nine candidates in the previous year (2022).
During a thanksgiving event held at Macho Primary School last week, the MP assured students, parents, and various education stakeholders of ongoing efforts to strengthen education reforms in Lugari Constituency, demonstrating a dedication to enhancing the overall educational landscape.
Referring to Mariam Salim, who achieved an outstanding 408 marks and secured a place at Alliance Girls High School, Nabii Nabwera commended the student’s achievement, especially considering her background in a low-income family.
