A China Airlines aircraft crashed on Monday in South China.
The plane was from the city of Kunning heading to Guangzhou with 133 unknown casualties on board, as reported by the state media.
The plane came down on a mountain in Guangxi Province and caught fire.
The unexpected event lives the China Eastern Airlines in shock as they are yet to comment on the crush or respond to queries for they have always had a clear safety record over the 12 past years.
In response, the airline has greyed out it’s logo on its Weibo account and changed its website to black and white.
According to the Flightradar 24, the plane was in the air for just over an hour and was nearing its destination when it went down in Wozhou, a mountain area prone to mixed weather as China enters the annual flood seasons.
