United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party nominations to field an MCA candidate in Lugari Ward are ongoing at Lugari and Manyonyi primary schools.
The exercise is featuring three candidates: Dennis Manyengo, a Lugari CDF committee member, Patrick Andabwa, brother to Lugari aspiring MP Isaac Andabwa, and Eunice Songa.
UDA is the party that Deputy President William Ruto is using to propel his ambition toward the presidency in August.
Results of the poll will be announced later in the day.
The winner will join a long list of candidates, most of them youthful, yearning for the seat.
