Bungoma county gubernatorial aspirant and Senate Speaker, Kenneth Lusaka, has assured people from Western that they will get 30% of government resources after they manage to garner 70% of votes in the region.
Lusaka was speaking during a Kenya Kwanza Coalition rally at Cheptais market in Mt Elgon accompanied by Kenya Kwanza co- principals ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula.
“The interest of minority and marginalized groups like Sabaoat in Bungoma county will be catered for by Kenya Kwanza administration under the incoming President William Ruto,” Lusaka said.
This comes in a few days after Lusaka, who was once governor of Bungoma, unveiled Jenepher Chemtai Mbattiany from the Saboat community as his running mate.
