A Lugari parliamentary candidate has been accused of preying on school girls and widowed women as well as buying youths illicit liquor.
The politician, whose identity is withheld, is said to be the cause of a number of girls going astray in Mautuma Ward and other areas of the constituency.
A trusted source, who is a deputy head teacher at a local primary school in Mautuma, raised the allegations to our WKT Grapevine desk about the candidate, who is seeking a first time in political office, getting into the scandalous act with a primary school girl in the village.
“The girl, who has been severally seen around with the MP, has so far dropped from school,” the deputy headteacher said.
The source also revealed that the politician goes after widows and “has broken a lot of marriages” in the region.
The politician is also accused of buying the youth alcohol to encourage them to disrupt competitors’ campaign rallies.
