Lugari MP Ayub Savula, who is also deputizing Fernandes Barasa in the Kakamega gubernatorial bid, has promised that every child attending early childhood education will be given free milk and a pair of school uniform.
Speaking during a rally in Matete today, the two-term lawmaker said that the BaraSavula administration will put up ECDE classrooms in every ward to boost the education sector in the county.
Barasa and Savula’s manifesto is keen on allocating resources to wards in a trickle-down strategy, such as the introduction of a Sh20 million ward fund that will advance rural development in a move to improve the lives of the common mwananchi.
The BaraSavula brigade is traversing the county in a hunt for votes as well as drumming up support for the Azimio la Umoja presidential flagbearer Raila Odinga who yesterday had mega rallies in Bungoma and Trans Nzoia counties.
As Savula woes Matete, his principal Fernandes Barasa camps in Mumias.
