ODM parliamentary candidate Nabii Nabwera is expected to be announced the new Lugari MP after staying clear in the lead of the polls conducted yesterday.
Results from majority polling stations put Nabii Nabwera in a clear lead ahead of his 11 opponents in results streamed yesterday evening on the Western Kenya Times website. Nabwera is currently leading with 13,000 votes as the tallying continues at Lumakanda.
Already some of his opponents, Bryan Munika Liseche and Isaac GM Andabwa of DAP-K have conceded defeat and that is expected of the other opponents.
The official results, however, are not yet out.
