Lugari: Woman mobbed for stealing in a supermarket

A woman was this evening roughed up by a mob at Lwandeti Market in Lugari Sub-county, Kakamega County, after allegedly shoplifting at a supermarket.

The middle-aged woman was allegedly caught at Umoja Supermarket with items hidden under her clothes before she was handed over to the mob.

A video shared online shows members of the public whipping and kicking her while whisking her away, seemingly towards a police station.
