Woman lynched to death for killing her two children in Likuyani

A 30-year-old woman from Furfural village in Likuyani Sub-county, Kakamega County, encountered the wrath of an angry mob after being accused of murdering her two children.

Jackline Ndinda is said to have taken the life of her 4-year-old daughter and dumped her body in a thicket on a neighbor’s farm. This is after she allegedly killed her 2-month old daughter two months ago.

Likuyani Sub-county police commander Charles Muthui confirmed that a passer-by spotted the body of the 4-year-old and raised the alarm to villagers, who then went after the mother and landed on her, killing her on the spot.

The bodies of the two were taken to Kitale Mortuary by Matunda Police Station officers as investigations commence.
