Wamunyinyi will be vying on the DAP-K ticket.

Former Kanduyi MP Wafula Wamunyinyi has announced that he will be vying for the Bungoma senatorial seat on the Azimio la Umoja’s DAP-K coalition ticket.

Wamunyinyi made the announcement today at a press conference in Bungoma and said that he is confident he will win the race with a landslide.

The politician, who has been in charge of Kanduyi Constituency for 20 years, said he has enough experience to offer proper legislation and oversight to the county government.

“We have a formidable team on the ground; together we will rally every village to give us the maximum votes,” he said.

The Bungoma County senatorial by-election will be held on December 8, 2022 after then Senator Moses Wetang’ula resigned to focus on the National Assembly seat.
