St. Cecelia Girls Lugari High School in Mautuma Ward has registered an increase in the number of university entries in KCSE 2022.
The school saw a rise by 10 entries after 33 out of 126 candidates scored C+ and above compared to 22 out of 113 candidates in KCSE 2021.
One candidate got a B+ (plus), another one a B (plain), 8 B- (minus), 23 C+ (plus), 54 C (plain), 29 C- (minus), 7 D+ (plus) and 2 D (plain).
The schools mean score also improved by 0.714 points from 5.2 in KCSE 2021.
The school principal, Madam Elizabeth Korir, said this year’s improvement in performance is due to good community relations, teacher commitment, and students’ efforts.
