Mariam Salim, the girl who emerged the best in KCPE 2023 in Lugari Constituency, will join the prestigious Alliance Girls High School.
Mariam Salim scored 408 marks at Macho Muslim Primary, a local day school, and was among the few candidates who scored above 400 marks countrywide.
Lugari MP Nabii Nabwera, during a function at Macho Muslim Primary School to honor candidates who passed well in the exam on Friday, confirmed that Mariam’s secondary education will be fully funded by the Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB).
“Her fees will be paid from Form One until she finishes university. Already, on Wednesday next week, I have made a plan that she will be taken by plane from Eldoret to Nairobi accompanied by her parents,” the MP said.
On her part, the brilliant student thanked everyone involved in her success and promised to work harder and make her family proud.
