Lugari Ward Member of the County Assembly (MCA), Musa Wangila Makhapila, is shifting bases to vie for the same seat in Sang’alo East Ward of Kanduyi Constituency, Bungoma County.
A close check by the Western Kenya Times has revealed that the politician, who went silent on his electorate immediately after he was elected for a second term in 2017, is making silent moves in his new abode.
A rough search on social media reveals that the leader has already conducted some campaigns in the ward to woo Sang’alo East voters to support his course.
The MCA, who is known to be a man of many homes, has been silent on his next move. Some have even been speculating on him vying for yet another term in Lugari.
Makhapila’s decision to abandon Lugari Ward could be a result of the disapproval he has gained from the people of Lugari in recent years, arising from sharp criticism about his role in the poor developmental record of the ward.
