Aspiring Member of Parliament for Lugari Ward, Nabii Nabwera, has promised to lift up the education sector if elected in the August 9 general elections.
Speaking at Lumakanda Township Primary School where he was the chief guest for a thanksgiving ceremony, the aspirant, who failed to clinch the seat in the 2013 and 2017 general elections, promised to create a conducive environment for learners as well as improve the education sector, which he said is lagging behind.

“I will build modern classes to reduce the congestion of learners in classes because, in modern society, education is the source of opportunities for our children,” Nabii, one of the popular candidates in the race, said.
Mr. Nabwera, who is on the ballot on the ODM party ticket, urged congregants to vote for him as the area MP and Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition flag bearer Raila Odinga as president.
The leader will be facing off with the likes of Alex Atingo of ANC and Bryan Liseche of UDP.
