Erected campaign materials vandalized by unknown people in Lugari

The materials belong to two politicians eyeing the MP seat

Politics in Lugari Sub-County is taking another twist after recent happenings in which campaign materials belonging to aspiring MPs were brought down by unknown people.

The most recent is yesterday when posters belonging to Bryan Liseche, who is vying on the United Democratic Party (UDP) ticket, were destroyed at Mukhonje and Matete markets.

That came barely a day after lights erected by Isaac Andabwa were vandalized at a market center in Mautuma Ward.

Residents took to social media to condemn the acts of intolerance and urged voters to be tolerant as the August 9 polls approach.
