Manchester United have qualified for the Round Four of the Carabao Cup playoffs after hammering Aston Villa 4-2.
The Red Devils seized the win through goals netted by Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Martial, Scot Mctominay, and Marcus Rashford.
United seemed overwhelmed by Villa’s defense in the first half, in which they were mostly found offside, but came nicely in the second half, even after their opponents opened the scoring in the 49th minute. Antony Martial’s tap-in goal brought the Red Devils back into the game seconds later.
A few minutes later, Villa’s winger aroused United’s Victor Lindelof and upset him for an own goal, but United would respond 10 minutes later with Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes, putting Man United ahead.
Scot Mctominay ensured that the Red Devils were going for the win after scoring late in the 91st minute after an incredible assist from Alejandro Garnacho.
The draw for Round Four of the Carabao Cup to be played in the week of December 19 has been determined:

- Blackburn Rovers v Nottingham Forest
