Hosts Kabras RFC retained the Kenya Cup and ended the season undefeated after defeating their archrivals, KCB Rugby Club, on a 19-9 scoreline.
The final played on Saturday attracted a swarm of rugby lovers at the Kakamega Showground from Kakamega County and the whole country.
The triumph is Kabras’ second consecutive victory and their third overall.
Kabras RFC attracted praise from fans and the coach, Carlos Katywa, who said his boys were well prepared for the heavyweight fight and played according to plan.
